Works on the bypass aroundSubotica, also known as the Y-arm, are still on a standstill. "After many problems that Serbian Corridors (Koridori Srbije) Enterprise has encountered since the start of the Y-arm project, i.e. of construction of the road from the Kelebija border crossing to the Subotica South loop, after completely finished expropriation and spent RSD 275 million on works conducted by now, construction works have been standing in one place for months already due to a lack of money", stated PR of Serbian Corridors Company, Sanja Stavrić. "Serbian Corridors Company is fully prepared for continuation of this project, we included construction of the Y arm in the plan and program of our enterprise for 2013. However, continuation of the works can be expected only when Serbian budget provides financial support for completion of works, and it is know that construction of the mentioned route is financed with domestic money and that around RSD 1.5 billion is still missing".
